We've still heard nothing about a Switch version of Fortnite Battle Royale, despite the fact that fans have been asking for it ever since it came out on console -- even Chance the Rapper chimed in a few weeks ago. Epic Games gave me the standard comment earlier today: "we hear players, but we have nothing else to announce right now." On the other we have Nintendo, more open to third-party developers than ever, gobbling up ports with remarkable speed and flexible on cross-play to boot. If it happened it could be big enough to even start driving Switch sales, especially considering the fever pitch of Fortnite mania right now.
