“We’re open to sort of anything,” said Julie LeJeune, co-chair of the Fort York Food Bank. The Fort York Food Bank is looking for a new location after its current lease near Bathurst and Dundas Sts. Fort York Food Bank serves the catchment area of Dovercourt St. to Yonge St., from Bloor St. to Lake Ontario. Councillor Mike Layton (Ward 19, Trinity-Spadina) called the Fort York Food Bank an institution that many in the community rely on. The vast majority of services are provided by volunteers, many of whom were, or are, clients of the food bank.
