An Auckland teacher who used the identity of another man and his colleagues to feed a gambling addiction has had his registration cancelled. Rafe Callum Fannin was sentenced to nine months' home detention last year. In a decision, the Teachers Disciplinary Tribunal noted Fannin had received ongoing counselling for his addiction. Fannin stole the identity of another man by using details from his Facebook page.
