(CNN) The former president of a California real estate firm and his wife pleaded guilty in federal court on Wednesday for using their wealth to improperly get their children into prominent universities as part of the college admissions scandal. They pleaded guilty in Boston to conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud. Bruce Isackson also pleaded guilty to money laundering conspiracy and conspiracy to defraud the IRS for taking a tax deduction for the bribe.
