Omer Ayub was former­ly associ­ated with PMl-NISLAMABAD: Omar Ayub Khan joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on Saturday after meeting with party chief Imran Khan. Senator Mushahid Hussain joins PML-NOmer Ayub served as the minister of state for finance between 2004 to 2007. He joined Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in 2012 was elected as a member of the National Assembly from constituency NA-19 as the party’s candidate in the by-election after 2013 general elections. In 2015, after being involved a prolonged legal and electoral battle with his opponent over the NA-19, Haripur berth Omar Ayub decided to bow out of the re-poll. Omer Ayub is the grandson of former military ruler Ayub Khan.
