PETALING JAYA: A former aide of a Perak MP has filed a police report against the lawmaker for allegedly sexually harassing her. She had tried to reason with the MP by advising him to behave like a lawmaker and that he was also a married man. It is believed that the MP too had filed a police report, claiming that he was “mentally tortured” by the former aide. “Any act of sexual harassment must be dealt with, what more (sexual harassment) accusations against an MP. “This reminds us of the long-awaited Sexual Harassment Act which must be passed immediately in Parliament,” said Haniza.
