Former Waikato principal deregistered for forging teachers' signaturesFormer Benneydale School principal Barbara Clark "struck at the heart of the expectation for honesty and integrity that teachers owe the public" in forging signatures and documents, a tribunal has heard. (File photo)A former principal has been barred from teaching after forging her successor's signature on endorsements of her fitness to work. Clark, from Whanganui, was convicted of two charges of forgery in the Whanganui District Court in December 2016. She initially denied any involvement but later admitted to police she produced a fraudulent letter of support from Benneydale School principal Melissa Anderton.
