A former senior adviser to former prime minister Stephen Harper has been found guilty of illegal lobbying. Bruce Carson was found guilty Friday of three counts under the Lobbying Act. RelatedCarson, who had left his role as a senior adviser in the PMO in February 2009, was under a five-year prohibition from lobbying public office holders at the time.
