Monrovia – A former stalwart of the Student Unification Party (SUP), a student political party on the campuses of the state-run University of Liberia, has termed his party’s latest call for President George Weah to step down as being “compromised”. SUP in a release on Monday, March 18, gave 60 reasons why they think are sufficient evidence for President Weah to step down as President Weah or be impeached by the legislature. “SUP believes that the state under his (President Weah) hegemony is fast crumbling and this tragedy could deepen if he (President Weah) does not resign or be impeached,” SUP Chairman Carlos Tingban Edison said.
