Perhaps these criticisms made him build the house even though it seems he might not ever live in the house. The General Manager of Bole-based Nkilgi FM, Mr Mahama Haruna who spoke to mynewsgh.com disclosed that residents of Bole have began to commend the former President Mahama for putting up the house which is the biggest mansion in the area. He said Former President Mahama’s inability to build a house in Bole even though he became the MP for Bole-Bamboi Constituency and rose from being a Deputy Minister, Minister, Vice- President to President was one of the biggest campaign issue against him by the locals. “Not even explanations that former President Mahama’s father, the late E. A Mahama who was the first Member of Parliament and the first government Minister had a house in Bole would let the people stop assuming he didn’t have Bole at heart”, Mr Haruna said.
