Former Nigeria head coach Stephen Keshi is dead, Nigeria Football Federation has confirmed. In 2015, his contract with Nigeria expired and the NFF failed to extend it citing poor results as well as indiscipline. Keshi also managed Togo between 2004 and 2006 guiding them to2006 world cup in Germany but was fired before the tournament due to poor results. In 2013,Keshi guided Nigeria to AFCON triumph, becoming the second person to win the title as a player and coach after Egypt’s Mahmoud El-Gohary. He made his International debut for the Super Eagles in 1982 and went to win 64 caps before retiring in 1994.
