information CS Joe Mucheru has appointed Naim Bilal as the new Kenya Broadcasting Corporation Managing Director for three years. According to a gazette notice, the former Nation Media Group editor's appointment took effect on March 20. He will take over from KBC secretary Paul Jilani, who has been acting as the MD since the exit of Waithaka Waihenya in 2017. Last year, KBC workers went on strike to demand better pay. KBC, however, dismissed the allegations and also rebuffed claims of embezzlement of cash.
