Former New York Mets deputy general manager Zack Scott was acquitted of being drunk after being arrested last August after participating in a fundraising campaign at team owner Steve Cohen’s house. The arrest occurred hours after Scott participated in the team’s Amajin Mets Foundation fundraising campaign at Cohen’s house in Connecticut. Mets led the National League East in the All-Star Round, but finished third in the division with a 77-85 record. In late 2020, Mets hired Scott as Deputy General Manager under Jared Porter’s General Manager, a colleague of the Boston Red Sox.
