Scotland have named New Zealand-born Blade Thomson in their squad for next month's tests. Thomson, who played for Taranaki and the Hurricanes, is now with Welsh side Scarlets. Flanker Thomson, who played for New Zealand at under-20 level, and Exeter Chiefs lock Skinner are among just three new caps in an expansive squad named by coach Gregor Townsend. Townsend said the 27-year-old Thomson had been on his radar for some time.
