Former Nyeri Deputy Governor Caroline Karugu on Friday went on a ranting spree during Azimio's inter-denominational prayer service. Speaking at the requiem mass, Karugu said that women in Kenya were ashamed to be recognized during this era. We are ashamed to be called women in Kenya because of the language being used by this government," Karugu said. Addressing the President, Karugu said that it was a mockery that Ruto was congratulating police officers while mothers were mourning the loss of their children. The President said there are over 300 police officers in hospitals due to last week's demos.
