Two former aides of New Jersey governor Chris Christie have been convicted on charges relating to the Bridgegate scandal. Bridget Kelly, Christie’s former deputy chief of staff, and Bill Baroni, a Christie appointee to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, were accused of orchestrating a huge four-day traffic jam at the George Washington Bridge in order to get back at a local Democratic mayor for failing to back Christie for re-election
