Former Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has slammed Maurizio Sarri, calling the Italian “stubborn”. Fabregas struggled for game time under Sarri during the first half of the season and eventually left the club in order to join Monaco. He had made just six Premier League appearances prior to his departure as compared to 32 during the season before. Speaking about his former manager, Fabregas said:“He is very superstitious, he is very stubborn in this way. No matter what you tell him, no matter what you advise him, no matter what your opinion is, he will never change.”It is now quite clear that Fabregas did not enjoy a good relationship with Sarri.
