Biwott, a former Member of Parliament for Keiyo South Constituency for 28 years served during the administration of former presidents Jomo Kenyatta, Daniel arap Moi and Mwai Kibaki. Nicknamed, Total Man, Biwott was a powerful Cabinet Minister during the reign of Daniel Moi. In his message of condolence, Former President Daniel arap Moi said he has known Biwott since 1950s both being leaders from Rift Valley then. Mzee Moi who described Biwott as dependable friend said his public service had an impact to the Nation.
