She played full throttle and helped her side record their first win in the competition, thanks to Patience Narh’s solitary strike. The 39-year-old, a registered player of Immigration Ladies, had only watched the games from the bench in the last three matches but made an appearance for the first time on Wednesday afternoon. Adwoa Bayor opted to return to active football after some time off the pitch. She represented Ghana at 1999, 2003 and 2007 FIFA Women’s World Cup and also played at six Africa Women’s Cup of Nations tournaments.
