It may seem to some young black men that they have only a few paths to success like sports or entertainment. While former professional basketball player Marcus Damas took the overseas league route himself, he hopes his second career in marketing shows kids where he’s from that there are other avenues to success. While he figured out his next move, Damas took a job at EA Sports working as a consultant to help structure their games and connect them with athletes. Fueled by Culture is Damas’ creative marketing agency focused on bridging the gap between culture and technology. All of this came after the success of FBC’s first event with rapper Young Jeezy.
