The poet and novelist was born in Vernon and currently lives in Toronto. A Cowboy's Work by former Vernon resident Aaron Tucker is on the 2022 CBC Nonfiction Prize longlist. Tucker is a poet and novelist whose latest collection, Catalogue d'oiseaux, was published by Book*hug Press in spring 2021. A statement on his website reads: Catalogue d’oiseaux began as notes sent to poet Aaron Tucker’s long-distance partner. The four runners-up will each receive $1,000 from the Canada Council for the Arts and will be published on CBC Books.
