NewsFormer Director of Army Intelligence, Major General (Retired) Amal Karunasekara, who was in remand custody, was further remanded till May 2 by the Colombo Additional Magistrate today. He was remanded in custody in connection with the abduction and assault of then Deputy Editor of 'The Nation' newspaper, Keith Noyahr in 2008.
