PETALING JAYA: Azran Osman Rani, the former AirAsia X and iFlix CEO was taken to the hospital after he was hit by a car when riding a bicycle on Jalan Duta earlier this morning. The 47-year-old, who is currently the CEO of Naluri Hidup Sdn Bhd – a coaching and counselling firm, was knocked down by the car from behind at around 8.55am on Sunday (May 27). Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement chief Asst Comm Zulkefly Yahya said the driver of the car, a 20-year-old student, was making a left turn at an exit but did not notice Azran. "He is currently being treated at Hospital Kuala Lumpur," he said when contacted on Sunday. Zulkefly said the conditions were clear at the time of the incident and the case is being investigated under Section 43(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
