This follows the murder of a form two student at Makunda Muslim high school two days ago. Sharif Odongo’s murder is the latest of many others that have left residents in fear and grief. Just last week, three people were killed at Lunganyiro and Matungu Campside markets while the body of a student of St Theresa’s Itete was found dumped in a ditch with stab wounds. Six people have been killed in a similar fashion in the last three weeks.
