The Ministry of Education has extended form one admission by a week. According to a statement by the Ministry of Education, a number of form one students are not yet enrolled to secondary school across the country. “The Ministry had decided to extend the reporting period by one week to enable parents/guardians enroll their children in various secondary school,” Ministry of Education CAS Sara Rutto said. School heads have been directed to admit all students, even those facing challenges raising school fees. On August 3,the government released Sh2.62 billion for public primary schools and Sh14.85 billion for public secondary schools.
