Many fans will be forgiven for forgetting that Cedric is still at Arsenal three years after he became one of Mikel Arteta’s first signings for the club. The right-back has made only two senior appearances this season – totaling just 65minutes of football. It seemed that Galatasaray would be his next club after they entered negotiations to buy him, only for them to end up signing Serge Aurier from Nottingham Forest instead. Furthermore, Jurrien Timber is also expected back in the next couple of months once he fully recovers from his ACL injury.
