I READ with great interest the letter “Build goodwill bridges for unity” by Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye (The Star, Aug 31). Lee has rightly pointed out that taking our harmony and unity for granted can lead to disastrous outcomes. We now have to connect all the dots together to make national unity a priority for this and future generations. Working with several agencies and ministries, the National Unity Ministry has embarked on a number of initiatives to make national unity an urgent goal. For every Malaysian child, sowing the seeds of national unity should rightly start in school.
