Rovers are now three points shy of the automatic promotion places with two games to go. Dayle Grubb's flighted corner picked out the leaping Gavin Gunning, who neatly glanced his header beyond Dimitar Mitov. Rovers responded, with Reece Brown stinging the palms of Mitov and Joseph Mills forcing a brave block from Harry Darling. The predatory Christian Doidge found the net following a Grubb corner, after Gunning's header was initially blocked.
