The Globe Theatre played host to fore play hijinks that brought out the laughs. While everything – apart from the state of their game – seems relatively sweet whenever Ralph, George and Archie enjoy their on-course camaraderie, all is not rosy. Archie may struggle to keep up with the pace wife Pam sets in the boudoir, but at least he and George acknowledge the "happy wife, happy life" principle. When wife Mabel wants to join the other gals for a salsa class, Ralph puts his foot down – and Mabel leaves. Although it moves from scene to scene briskly enough and the characters are well-defined, the encounters between them need to be crisper.
