Today, Premier Doug Ford faced opposition unfamiliar to him when a bee entered his mouth and ended up down his throat. While taking questions from attending media in Dundalk, ON regarding the health-care staffing shortage that is afflicting the entire province, Ford was in the midst of responding when the winged opposition entered his primary orifice. Affably, Ford took a sip of water from a bottle and lightened the mood by acknowledging,“This is going to be played over and over again.”His discomfort was, however, obvious and understandable. Man he went right down the hatch,” he said, laughing.”This is a good one … I can’t remember what we were talking about. I’m going to be rushed to the hospital to get this bee out of here.”Gamely, Ford did continue with the briefing for several minutes.
