By RUSHDIE OUDIAMore by this AuthorFord Kenya nominations in Kisumu have kicked off Monday morning amidst claims of vote rigging and bribery. The exercise witnessed a low voter turnout as registered members of the party chose candidates for the August elections. The nominations were taking place in three centres in Kisumu with candidates mainly fighting it out for the positions of Ward representatives. An aspirant for the Central Kisumu Ward seat Mr Albert Otieno claimed that there were a group of youth who were dishing out money and membership cards to strangers. Apart from Mr Otieno, other candidates seeking the ticket are Mr George Okoth Onyango and Wilfred Auma.
