Ford Kenya has locked three governor aspirants out of the Trans Nzoia race by endorsing a report for incumbent Patrick Khaemba to get direct nomination. Machi said the committee will engage the county branch office and the three aspirants on working together so Ford Kenya can retain the county chief post. But Jubilee Party's Kalenjin brigades in Trans Nzoia are also keen on securing the seat. The governor seat was for Luhyas while the Deputy Governor post, held by Stanley Kenei, was for Kalenjins.
