At least three people have died in the storm that struck California, APA reports citing Forbes magazine. Rainy weather with strong wind gusts exceeding 40 m/s has settled in the south of the state. Heavy snowfall is occurring in northern California. Due to severe weather, more than 110,000 customers in the state were left without power on Christmas Eve. California Governor Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency in Los Angeles and some surrounding areas.
