(WWLP) – The Forbes Library has announced the grand opening of its new outdoor garden on Saturday in Northampton. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 11 AM, and the event is highlighted by a stunning statue of the Greek goddess Athena that is featured within the garden. At the ribbon-cutting ceremony, there will be remarks by the library trustees, the Travis-Ruane family, and artist Brian McQuillan, light refreshments, and the opportunity to explore the garden and appreciate the art and plantings. “We are excited to provide a new space for our community to enjoy and find inspiration,” said Lisa Downing, Director of Forbes Library.
