Forbes Brings Top Young Entrepreneurs To City Of Rawabi To Foster Partnerships With Palestinian Tech Entrepreneurs


The excursion into Rawabi was part of Forbes Under 30 Summit EMEA’s “Service Day,” a program in partnership with The Pratt Foundation designed to give back to the local community. “The city of Rawabi is a massively ambitious and optimistic project,” said Randall Lane, Forbes magazine Editor and creator of the Forbes Under 30 franchise. “Our goal with Service Day was to start a dialogue between top young international entrepreneurs and Palestinian tech entrepreneurs and leave this region better than we found it.”More than 50 entrepreneurs and game-changers from 20 different countries heard presentations from a group of 60 Palestinian tech entrepreneurs, ranging from the founders of NIMD and Baskalet to Mashvisor and Asal Technologies. Rawabi was the vision of Bashar Masri who, with the continued support of the international community, created a unique city with world-class infrastructure and a tech hub. “By bringing in groups like the Forbes 30 Under 30 honorees, we hope to foster partnerships between Palestinian tech entrepreneurs and our international peers.
