National Citizen Party (NCP) Convenor Nahid Islam has once again raised questions over the appointment of an interim government advisor to lead the foreign ministry. Nahid, a member of parliament, said: "Our struggle against hegemony is not limited to Indian hegemony alone. “We will continue to fight against any superpower that acts against the interests of Bangladesh," he said. “It raises the question of whether Bangladesh has once again succumbed to a submissive foreign policy," Nahid said. Directing his critique at the current administration, he said: "An advisor to the interim government has been handed the portfolio for foreign affairs.
