Surf AirWith Surf Air you show up 15 minutes before departure, even for international flights, and typically you are out of the airport within 10 minutes of arriving. While luxury airlines such as EOS, MGM Grand Air, Legend, and AirOne have a long history of failure, Surf Air really isn’t a luxury airline. Simon Talling-Smith, the CEO of Surf Air Europe, is a former top executive at British Airways. Surf Air in the U.S. recently acquired RISE, a similar concept based in Texas. Beacon, a like concept in the Northeast U.S. failed, yet Surf Air and RISE claim over 4,000 active members paying monthly fees.
