Located about 20 minutes outside Nashville, the estate on Old Hickory Lake was Johnny and June Carter Cash ’s home from 1968 until their deaths in 2003, according to their son, John Carter Cash. The Gibbs were in the process of restoring it when the fire broke out, according to John Carter Cash. “Everybody knows where Johnny Cash’s property is,” he said.
