South Korea's talk of banning cryptocurrency trading sent all of the top traded coins down yesterday and again on Thursday. This week, word that the South Korean government would ban trading sent ripples through the crypto market. South Korea, Japan and China account for the lion's share of trading on cryptocurrency exchanges. South Korea pulled a rug out from under it this week, but the MoneyGram news kept it from falling further. "I don't think South Korea is banning cryptocurrencies altogether," he says.
