Just weeks later, Saunders claimed he was 'at a permanent disadvantage on the open labour market,' and requested £17,300 for this alone. Saunders can be seen celebrating with his teammates as they secure a 4-3 victoryA judge at Brighton County Court said Saunders' claim was 'fundamentally dishonest'.
