Prior to their departure from Dhaka, head coach Jamie Day praised his charges for the performance against Asian champion Qatar and urged to repeat the same display against the 104th ranked Indians. Bangladesh captain Jamal Bhuiyan echoed the same sentiment and said they are targetting all three points against their sub-continent rival. Defender Yeasin Khan, who missed a couple of gilt-edged chances against the Qataris, rued the wasted opportunities during Thursday’s clash at Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka. Bangladesh, ranked a lowly 187th, will be eager to open their account after accumulating none in two matches so far while Qatar top the group with seven points from three games. Second placed Oman have six points from two matches while Afghanistan are third with three points from as many games.
