Joe, aged six and a half, sent the club 26 pence to give to his favourite player, forward Harry McKirdy. The note had small change sellotaped to it and said: ‘I like Swindon Town Harry McKidy. Under 11s can currently watch Swindon Town play for £30 a year but must be accompanied by a full-paying adult, who would pay £320 for a season ticket in the side stands. The fundraiser is not connected to the football club in Wiltshire.
