Guwahati, Oct. 5: Thirteen-year-old Maika Hembrom and her classmates rush onto the field to play football as soon as headmaster Sakaria Kisku blows the whistle at 3pm. Football fever may have gripped Assam ahead of the Fifa Under-17 World Cup to be played here from Sunday but the girls are struggling to get basic gear to pursue their dreams to be professional footballers one day. When asked whether the girls are eager to watch the Fifa U-17 World Cup matches, Hembrom asked: "Who will buy tickets for them? "If someone can buy tickets, we can arrange transportation at least for one match. We don't have funds to buy tickets," Narzary said.
