During an exclusive preview of the FIFA World Cup, Oscar Sanchez, FIFA head of host broadcast production, and Paul King, HBS senior producer, FIFA World Cup 2026, will share insights on production strategies, deploying cutting-edge workflows and innovations, the thinking behind the IBC, and how the team plans to overcome logistical and technical challenges on the biggest men’s World Cup ever. First up, ‘SVGE Women – Developing female leaders in sports broadcasting’ will feature Lowri Davies, Premier League Productions director of broadcast services; Nia Wyn Thomas, Sky Sports, football senior producer and FilmNova’s Alison Lombardi. The final workshop is a Camera and Steadicam Masterclass which will explore the craft of camera and steadicam operation in live football production, highlighting the technical, emotional, physical, and creative demands of the role.
