SportSri Lankan Airlines ‘B’ retained the Travel Trade Sports Club (TTSC) Football Sevens Cup Championship, when they convincingly beat Cinnamon Red 4-0 nil, in the fourth installation of the tournament sponsored by Traveller Global and held at the Henry Pedris Stadium on Sunday (21). The goal scorers for the winning team were Rajith Dinesh, Mahesh Kumara, Vijay Weerasinghe and P.L.T. Walkers Tours ‘A’ won the Plate title while and Paradise Beach Hotel Negombo won the Bowl championship. A total of 13 teams participated in four groups, in two stages consisting 26 matches including the three finals. At the completion of the group round-robin stage, the first two teams of each group advanced to the Cup and Plate championships, while the third placed teams played in the Bowl segment.
