Sunderland boss Sam Allardyce will be offered the England manager's job tonight (NZT). The Football Association will make an official approach to Sunderland, asking permission to begin negotiations about appointing Allardyce as Roy Hodgson's successor. Allardyce is expected to be offered a two-year deal up until the end of the next World Cup in Russia in 2018.
