SportOne of the best footballers produced in Sri Lanka, P.D. Sirisena, a football maestro, who was nicknamed 'Master', passed away after a brief illness on Monday (18) morning. He also was appointed as an Advisor of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and was a Technical Advisor for the Football Federation of Sri Lanka (FFSL). Sirisena was the founder of Saunders FC and was its coach for many years. In a statement issued by the FFSL, stated that its Executive Committee has decided to undertake all funeral arrangements of the legend P.D.
