Ali Kajo, one of the most promising strikers to have donned the national jersey in the 60s is dead. Known for his fierce shots, Kajo was among the players who contributed a great deal in Feisal's victory in the 1965 Kenya National Football League. Feisal became the first club from Coast Region to win the league which was inaugurated in 1963. Kajo, together with Ahmed Breik, Ali Sungura, Badi Ali, Amran Shiba and Nassir Omar were the pioneers from Coast Region in the national team. We all feared his powerful shots.
