BERLIN (Reuters) - Bayern Munich reached the German Cup quarter-finals after being made to sweat for a 2-1 victory over holders Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday having dominated for much of the game. The German champions twice hit the woodwork in a furious start before Jerome Boateng headed them into the lead in the 12th minute. "We deserved the win even though we were put under pressure for the last 30 minutes," Bayern coach Jupp Heynckes told reporters. "We have merely reached a milestone," Heynckes, who led Bayern to the treble in 2013, said. Dortmund had reached the final in the previous four editions of the competition.
