The food industry is looking for ways to deal with a shortage of chefs and cooks in B.C. One idea that's been kicked around would see the food industry come up with a code of conduct to ensure the culture in all kitchens remains healthy. Food industry experts say millennials expect a different workplace culture and they're trying to accommodate that by offering mentorship and better working hours.
